From a can at Leeks Marina. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Aromas are of dank hay. Flavors are bitter citrus

Crisp copper coloured body with a bronze glow and a bit of a peach tint, all with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of crisp grain, light hoppy bitterness and a touch of a tropical fruit bite showing some pineapple and mangoes, as well as some oranges and flowers towards the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral hops with a dash of tropical fruits, light bitterness from the alpha acids and a bit more malt than expected with some biscuity notes and light grain coming through at the finish. Aftertaste is dry with some light citrus notes, a tiny bit of mangoes and pineapple notes, but more of the floral and perfumey hop characteristics that don't show too much bitterness, stacked up on top of some more substantial malts. Overall, a nice enough IPA that shows more like a plain West Coast IPA than anything else, as the tropical notes aren't too strong, but the malt hits hard for the duration. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Super One Foods in Kalispell, Montana on 26-July-2020 for US$1,67 sampled in my hotel room here in Missoula, Montana on 28-July-2020.

On tap at Draught Works, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with tropical fruits upfront, with citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus hops, some tropical notes, and biscuity malt. Tropical and bitter finish. Solid.

12 oz can from a six pack. 12 days old. Aroma is grain, faint pineapple, faint caramel. Pours clear new penny copper with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention and lace. Taste is moderately bitter, a tad boozy, a bare hint of pineapple which provides faint tartness, finishing dry and bitter. Perfect mouthfeel. Not bad, but pretty underwhelming compared to the other two beers I've had from this brewery, their flagship IPA and their pale ale. They could have put way more pineapple in this and I would be happier.
