Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Roasted malt and vanilla, caramel, cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, light booze. Sweet flavour, moderate bitter. Strong vanilla, roast, brown sugar. Not really a "Stroopwafel", but decent enough.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 29, 2025.
Aroma is full of caramel and brown sugar with quite a bit of cinnamon as well. Lighter notes of vanilla, coffee and chocolate. A bit of a fruity notes as well with a banana-like note. Medium light alcohol notes.
Pours jet black with a medium small, thick, dark mocha head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and long legs.
Flavor is rather sweet with lots of caramel and brown sugar. Lighter roast and chocolate notes with some toffee as well. Moderately strong bitterness and moderate alcohol notes. Quite a bit of cinnamon with hints of vanilla. A bit of a fruitiness with some banana and cherry. Moderate bitterness coffee notes.
Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and moderate alcohol warmth.
Overall, not the best Speedway stout. Way too much cinnamon and the brown sugar and caramel lightens the base beer and adds a weird fruitiness. The coffee is overly bitter as well.

Head is thin, tan, quick gone. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is rich spicy, chocolate. Taste full malty base, spicy, cinamnon, berries, decent bitterness, dry on the palate, coffee, red wine, soft carbonation, very good.

16 oz can. Aroma is cinnamon, dark bread, coffee, vanilla, raisin, molasses, caramel. Pours very dark brown to black with a half finger tan head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is moderately sweet and highly bitter (for style). Tastes a lot like a stroopwafel, but bitter.

Black with a beige head. Big cinnamon notes with dark chocolate, molasses, caramel, sweet vanilla ice cream, and roasted coffee. Full bodied. Finish has a sweet berry note. I don’t see how this has anything to do with Stroopwafel.

Dark chocolate, raspberry nose. Black, medium beige head. Raspberry, espresso, dark chocolate, burned cookies, heavy char. Full body, easy carbonation, hot. Intense, boozy, toasty, caffeinated. Too much of all that.
