[ As Il Birrificio Pönde ].Unclear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, spicy, fruity, yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, yeast, spicy, herbal notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150722]

Draught@Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, grassy and some mild herbal and spiced notes. Flavour is fruity, citrusy, mild floral notes along with some spices and mild yeasty notes. Earthy notes in the aftertaste too.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head. Candyish, yeasty and spicey aroma. Light-bodied. White pepper front, then sweetish fruityness even some bubblegum. Ok.

Keg at Il Birrifico, Helsinki. It pours cloudy golden-orange with a decent white head. The is sweet doughy malts, toasty grain, biscuit, brioche, muffin, cereal, peach, pear and apricot. The taste is bitter-sweet, stewed orange, peach, pear drops, decent bitterness, doughy malts, straw, minerals, light sherbet and spice with a dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent saison.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, Helsinki, 20150513) The beer poured pale golden and rather cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness, black pepper and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, black pepper, spiciness, mild sourness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was peppery, spicy and bitter. A tasty saison with black pepper.

Draught @ Brewpub. To be. Amber colored, thin white head. Yeasty, wheat aroma. Some banana. Flavor has wheat, yeast, spices notes. Well made hefeweizen.

Draught @ Il Birrificio. Aroma feels slightly musty with funky yeastyness, fruits, apricot and floury notes. Flavour has frapefruit, flouey tones, fruits and funky yeast. Also some citrus. Mint at the end of the glass. Slightly messy but refreshing anyway.

Tap at Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Colour is deep golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, tropical fruits, sweetness, some spices, Belgian yeast and malts. Very juicy and fruity saison. I really don’t know do I like this or not.

Finish is funky yeasty, spicy, juicy fruity and floral with some lemon and grapefruit. Pretty nice and refreshing fruity saison.
