On tap at Twin Sails, pours a hazy burgundy with a small pink head. Aroma brings out bright, pithy blueberries upfront, with a touch of wildness. Flavour is puckeringly sour, with intense, tart blueberries, light acidity, and some gentle wild yeast. Not a huge amount of depth, but the berries and tartness is intense. Mouthfeel is rather grainy and moderately acidic. Pleasant extreme sour, but without much elegance.

Draught at the brewery
Dark red colour, cloudy, with minimal pink head. A bit sweeter than the blackberry and less sour, but with almost equally evident fruit character.
I'd probably prefer the blackberry given the superior quality of the fruit, but this one as well is a beer with a giant amount of fruit.
Very well done.

Taster. Appearance: hazy purple, no head. Aroma: blueberries, some sourness. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry, some barrel notes. Overall: pretty good, but not overly complex.

Purple blueberry colour, lots of blueberry but definitely a bit of butyric in there, ok on the palate but that character is still there.
