Dark brown. No head, smoky, base beer is a bit weak, very smoky, thin, maybe a bit toasty but needs more sugars.

Bottle pour at Weathered, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Nose reveals a subdued earthy smokiness upfront, with little else. Flavour is full of smoke upfront, followed by toasted malt and a bit of pepper. Thin palate with little depth. It's alright.

750 ml bottle. Pours black with little head. Aromas of smoked malts. Flavors of hickory smoke like bacon, plus roasted malts. Missing something...

Taster on Weathered. Appearance: deep brown copper with a beige head. Aroma: smoky and roasty. Taste: along the same lines, quite thin. Overall: meh for a not fan of smoky beers. Did not find any barrel presence in this one.
