As an opportunity to raise funds for the rehabilitation of wildlife that have been devastated by the Australian wild fires, we reached into our past and pulled out this gem. We tweaked the hop profile to produce a DIPA that screams tropical fruit. Double Dry Hopped with Rakau, Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin and Vic Secret, this version is straight mango, bitter pineapple and passionfruit with underlying notes of guava and lychee. At 8.2% ABV, this one is way too crushable. Proceeds are being donated to WIRES – Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, bright, with compact head; looking a bit better than the average Hazie. Fruity aroma, mainly tropical fruit. The amount of residual sugar is well contained, the malt base is delicate; juicy hopping, with tropical fruit and grapes (concord…), touch of strawberry too; the finish is slightly drier, with enough bitterness for the style and alcohol warmth.
Very good.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of fresh oranges, lychee, tangy citrusy hops, resins, and some tropical pithy fruit. Flavour is wonderfully juicy, with tons of tropical fruit juice, assertive resinous hops, a bit of candied sugar, and light citrus. So fruity and juicy, even with a slight alcohol kick. A bit too yeast but very good for what it is.

Can, Legacy. Cloudy, bubbly head, not a bad amber colour. It's not that bright on the nose, or the palate, but has subtle fruit accents - maybe gooseberry, pear and that sort of thing. Full pale malt character. Touch of alcohol in the finish. Yes, I'd like it brighter, but it's good.
