16.9 oz. can from the Costco 2025 German Biergarten Collection. Pours a crystal clear yellow-gold color with a bright white head and great retention. Decent scattered lacing. Lightly sharp pilsner malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Lightly sharp pilsner malt flavor with a light bitter finish. Smooth, clean, and lightly crisp. Very repeatable. Medium-light body. Medium-light, fine carbonation. Light bitterness. Good beer.

I probably will say this several times. All the German beer reviews are similar because they taste similar but great. Clear gold in color with a three-finger white head. Aroma is well-balanced with grains forward. Taste is also well-balanced with grains forward.

Costco box: pours light clear gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy, light honey, hints of grass. Light bitterness. Low sweetness. Tad industrial. Generally solid.

Initial smell hits the mark but the follow through leaves something to be desired. Pours golden with decent initial head. Tangy cloying finish. Can from Costco calendar.

Big 17 oz bottle from total wine. Pour is clear pale with a white head. Nose is almost nuetral. First taste is odd aged euro pils, can't find a date code, may be an old bottle. Decent level of carbonation up front. Yea, in the middle the aged effect takes a bigger hold on the taste buds, even tho I don't get any skunk on the nose. As I live thru the session, towards the end, it tends lean towards the taste of a sortah aged old can of macro pale lager that's been setting on the shelf for a while. Oh well. One good thing going for it is that it never gets too bitter.

Big 17 0z can for 2 bucks. Pour is pretty looking yellow with a decent creamy head. Nose is just a little cabbage like, with a little metal, something you get from clear or green bottle if it's from the old country noble hops, kindah odd. First taste is reminiscent of the old country pils, sharper back of throat pilsner bite and feel. Yes, not as civilized as I was expecting but it's not bad. Could drink a couple of these. Toward the end of the session that pils bitter bite keeps coating the back of my throat on my tongue and does become a little annoying, fer sher. Pretty good co2 to the end.
