Hazy deep golden and peach coloured body with a smallish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, citrus, grapefruit, light resin, some honey and a dash of flowers. Medium-bodied; Assertive bitterness from the hops with a grassy and very citrusey quality, showing some smoother oranges and resinous notes along with a touch of pine, with some noticeable alcohol warmth towards the end. Aftertaste shows the deeply bittering hops with a grassy and very perfumey quality that is quite dry and showing only a touch of citrus and very little sweetness at the end with some grapefruit notes picked up, but more of the dry bitter hops. Overall, a nice and very grassy/dry take on a New England IPA that does show some citrus notes, but no real sweetness or 'juicy' qualities, but does show a traditional PNW hoppiness with the hazy glow. Nice to try as are most beers from Gigantic, but not worth trying to find, compared to other 'real' New England IPAs that are available here in the NorthEast. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Downtown Spirits in Seattle, Washington [state] on 07-February-2020 for US$11,99 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 21-June-2020, Father's Day, where I got to spend a great day with my three kids.

On tap at the Loyal Legion, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some resins, gentle dankness, and booze. Flavour is robust, with lots of resinous hops, caramel malt, and candied sugar. Excellent balance between the malt and hops. Robust. Great one.
