Bottle bought at the brewery shop in Chesterfield. Black with a very thin head. Crisp dark malt brew, but not too malty, only a small sweetness, but a flavoursome traditional styled effort nevertheless. Fairly smooth textured too.

750ml bottle with flip top from Archer Road Beer Stop - a thick black beer that has a refreshing hit for a barley wine. A creamy palate gives way to a malty bitterness, something that is a good winter warmer... despite it being August.
