We wanted to make a beach beer and Skylark hits that mark! 4.4%, carbed up high so it feels like tiny elves are dancing on your tongue, and, of course, a guava punch with bright minerality and lime zest on the finish.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy gold with white head. Guava, lime and saison yeast. Okay.

473mL can, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright lime upfront, followed by guava, and some gentle rustic saison yeast. Flavour is clean, with bright lime, a little guava, and dry rustic saison yeast. Bright, dry, but not terribly exciting.

Looks golden but I poured it into my metal S&O cup so not seeing much of the beer. Both fruits come through a fair bit. On the palate, some off dry hops in the finish, bright guava up front with a lime accent, light esters. Good body and balance - I imagine spelt and oats help out with that.
