Tasting at Phill's, bottle
Black colour. Thick, sweet, more demerara than maple, sweet chocolate, hazelnuts, hiding the alcohol very well; the smoothness is a winning factor here.

22oz @ Phill's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: some delicate maple and coffee. Taste: along the same lines, quite sweet and slick. Overall: ok, I am not a big fan of the texture.

Hazy, dark brown. On the palate, I'm getting this nutty not, lots of maple, with a touch of nuttiness. Okay, this is a bit thin and not coming together much. Hm.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals lots of coffee upfront, accentuated by maple syrup. Flavour is very sweet, with intense maple syrup, accentuated by subtle coffee. That's nearly cloyingly sweet on the maple syrup, but there's really nice depth. Excellent sweet desert bomb, but it is definitely overpriced.
