Tasting at Phill's, can
Black colour, compact tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt flavour, smooth, not too sweet, burnt sugar, and ashy in the finish.
Well made.

16oz @ Phill's. Appearance: ark brown with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, inky. Taste: along the same, quite roasty, smoky, dry. Overall: meh, not my style IS.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich roasted malt, wood and some resinous hops. Flavour is robust, with lots of roasted malt, some wood, and a touch of hoppy resins. Woody and roasty finish. Simple but really well-made roasted impie.

Dark brown. Fudgey, with a bit of fruitiness. It's dry, with a bit of fruitcake, and a hint of roast. The dryness isn't bad at all. Moderate bitterness. Decent.
