FARMHOUSE DOUBLE IPA

Collaboratively brewed with: Boombox Brewing
Label Design by: Jace Kim + Taka Sudo

Sonopsychotic is brewed with a farmhouse yeast from the Ardennes that produces notes of fruit and spice, which blend beautifully with the dank tropical notes from multiple Citra and Mosaic hop additions. A full fermentation results in a beer that is not cloying in the slightest, and it drinks like one with half its strength, beware! Show Less

Amber. Slight haze, bubbly head. Toasty aroma with some inappropriate phenols…light nail polish and a touch of that burnt electric wire. Don’t go farmhouse for shits and giggles, please.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, with lots of piney hops, resinous hop oils, and sweet caramel malt. Flavour is oily, with lots of piney and resinous hops, some caramel, and biscuity malt. Oily and bitter on the finish with just enough sweetness. There's a bit of metallic character to it, which I might be mistaking for the farmhouse character. Good stuff.

Blond colour, hazy to cloudy. Nice aroma, moderately dank, ripe stone fruit. Full bodied, smooth, with moderate residual sugar; it starts with some flavour of sugar, pale malt, piney hops, some orange peel, grapefruit, mild dank character too, and a pleasant alcohol punch in the finish. Good one, willing to try from can as well.
