Cask at Leeds Int. BF. Nearly black. Tight, thin, pale brown head. Lots of roast coffee. Chocolate. Dark, roast malt. Some tar in there. Lovely big, thick, tasty beer that I ended up rushing to go catch a train. Would love to try again, and take time over it.

Cask at CPK - London. Pours oily black with a foamy brown head. Heavy burnt earth on the nose, some chocolate cake, baking cocoa, burnt wood. Medium to big sweet flavor with some oily chocolate sauce, torched wood, mild earthy bitterness, cherry liqueur, dried berries. Medium bodied with very fine carbonation. Impressively little alcohol presence to finish, lots of rih chocolate character, bittersweet cocoa, brownies, modest scorched earth. Very good and quite drinkable for the ABV.
