Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Caledonian Distant Sun ].Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, apple, light hay, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, light hay, honey sweet notes, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140812]

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry, herbal and light grainy. Bitter, toasted and light grassy to strawish. Mild citrusy. Bitter and grassy dry finish.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Clear golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is earthy, bready notes, fruit tingle, straw, pretty muted aromas. Taste comprises citric rind, straw, bready malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so ... yawn juice!

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, residual white head. Light cereal pale malts. Hops are a light ripe orange and grapefruit. Light dry finish. Passable.

Cask @ Ship Tavern, Holborn WC2. Pours a pale amber golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity citrus aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty citrus finish with hints of caramel.
