Between Scott Shailer and our team, the ideal goal was to bring forth something truly delicious, world class even, and sessionable that encompassed excessive amounts of tropical fruits without actually adding any fruit to the beer itself. Discussions continued in exploring something unique by way of the yeast we chose to use, one possessing the fruit forward profiles we were aiming for.....low and behold, we nailed it as a collective. High fives all around everyone!!! We packed this creation with enough Citra, Topaz and Motueka, your head would spin, providing expressions of freshly peeled clementines, exotic lychee and tropical citrus zest while the yeast addition amplifies things even further on the fruitiness scale. We also added a few dashes of sea salt to the beer which provides a slight salinity to pair alongside the erupting fruit profiles that you'll find here within this limited release. Let's raise a glass to our friends from way up North for coming to our house and making this project finally come to light!

473mL can, pours a cloudy peachy golden with a small white head. Nose is quite yeasty and salty, with very earthy hops, biscuity malt, muddy notes from the kveik and salt. Flavour is muddy and salty, with a rather unpleasant dirtiness from the kveik yeast, light earthy hop bitterness, and salt. Still never had a worthwhile beer with kveik yeast; it just muddies everything up it touches. And the salt doesn't help things. Useless beer. Messy, uncoordinated, with few redeeming qualities.

473 ml can. Pours a turbid amber with moderate head. Aromas of pithy citrus, melons, a bit of piney hops, and wheaty malts. Flavors of candied grapefruit, melons, a little resin, and more wheaty malts. Piney finish

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Cloudy to murky blond colour. Fruity aroma, light citrus, lightly spicy. Dry mouthfeel, with some oats chalkiness, quite strong spicy yeast character, decent bitterness, some citrus peel.
Good.

Last time I was at Woodcutter's they were just installing the brewery and I was drinking Pingo and cocktails. So I'm pumped to see this one because I haven't been back up since before covid. Thick and sweet. Some pine, but more grapefruit and tropical fruit notes. Decent pale, a bit thick and sweet for me, but good stuff.
