Cask at the Henry Addington Canary wharf. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head . Aroma is tangy plum fruit, brown bread, soft roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, plum cakey malts,. Palate is semi sweet, moderate cask condition . Ok.

Cask at The Ship, Gracechurch St, London. Pours jet black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt and chocolate. Heavy sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body and slight oily texture, carbonation is soft. A very sweet stout.

Bottle, 4.5%- Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, liquorice and a little chocolate. Flavour is roatsed malts, chocolate, caramel, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

Bouteille: Black as ink, quckly collapsing off-white head, chocolate, vanilla, burnt malt and toasted malt in the nose; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, both sticky and light bodied; sourish butnt malt in the chocolatey and malty finish. Not really convincing…

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, nuts, a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor, roasty, with chocolate, some nuts, a coffee note, caramel. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Black Wolf Florida Black ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, oat, ash, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, burnt, sweet malt, light woody hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150620]
