Brewed with a mix of European and North American malt and dry-hopped with Citra (citrus/tropical fruit) and Amarillo (orange/lemon/grapefruit), then megaboosted with a combo from our house yeast strain and M. Reukaufii (Metschnikowia Reukaufii) yeast. A special find that we used with our wicked Temporal Artisanal Ales collab, 'Resonance'.

Our house yeast enhances the flavours and aromas of new school hops while M. Reukaufii, which was originally harvested from wild flowers in the Berkley Hills of California, accentuates the flavour and aroma profiles as well as softens any perceived bitterness on the palate. Press PLAY and crank this delicious IPA to full blast!

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Murky blond colour. The aroma is dank. Lean mouthfeel, it's quite dry, with some creamy and floury oats; strong bitterness, but mostly chicory-like, and astringent in the finish, all this hiding most flavour qualities from the hops. The lack of sugars, as usual in NEIPAs, doesn't help either.
Unbalanced, too harsh in the finish.

On tap at The Magnet, pours an opaque murky yellow with a small white head. Aroma is chalk galore, with lots of hopburn and pulpy stone fruits. Flavour is chalky as hell, with lots of hopburn, chalky yeast soup, and some citrusy pulp. Not much hop flavour profile, just hopburn and chalk. Another useless hazy chalk bomb from Boombox.

Densely sedimented, with a medium head. The aroma is honeyish, floral, with some tropical fruit notes. It's complex and appetizing. On the palate, thick, the hops a bit harsh, a touch of alcohol. Those bright estery, hoppy notes aren't as prominent, which is a shame, but of course you need malt to balance the beer. It's not bad, the thickness does cut some of the green hop character down a notch.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy yellow with small white head, couple small bits of sediment. Lightly dank, slightly floral, mild stone fruit, hint of onion. Not something I would go out of my way for.
