330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas of grapefruit and resin. Taste is more grapefruit, caramel, quite a light bitterness. One-dimensional, but not bad.

Bright clear gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Light and thin malt base. Rich orange peep hops with touches of skunk and lemon. Slight floralness. Light finish. Lots of great flavour packed in to this small beer.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2013. Some grapefruit and lemon juice coming through but seems overshadowed by its bitterness.

Cask at the Craven, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is hoppy and unmistakably Citra. The flavour is medium bitter, malty and the Citra is there, but it’s not as evident as it was in the aroma. The bitterness was strong in the palate and stuck around forever in the aftertaste. There was a hint of the Citra spice on the palate, but not quite enough for me. There are other single hop Citra’s that float my boat more than this one.
