Medium brown, tart brown ale, light toast, but not my style, I mean the sour dark thing I almost never like.

250 ml can. Pours a dark brown with a few bubbles. Aromas of vinous wood, cocoa and soft roasted malts. Flavors of balsamic vinegar, tart dark berries, cocoa, soft vanilla and smooth roasted malts

On tap at Cascade, pours black with a tiny bubbly beige head. Aroma brings out gentle vanilla beans, light cocoa and tart vinous notes. Flavour is tart and vinous, with subdued vanilla and cocoa, and mostly just oak, wine, and acidity. Gently spicy finish, with plenty of acidity that leaves some heartburn. Decent.
