Cask (handpump) @ Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden, 168 High Holborn, Covent Garden, Greater London, England WC1V 7AA. [ As Highland Rockall Ryse ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, rye notes, light peach - apricot. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, pale malt, rye notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140818]

Cask @ Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden, Holborn WC1. Pours a golden pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy spicy rye aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy finish.

Cask at Hanging Bat. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is rye bread, tropical fruits, orange peel, caramel, light irn bru and candy. The taste is bitter, brown bread, spicy rye, wood, resin, leaf, varnish and some grapefruit with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quaffable.

Cask at cloisters. Pours amber brown, sweet, dry toffee, light pepper, light fruit.

On cask at Holyrood 9A. Appearance - golden with a toffee tinge. Decent head. Nose - toffee some resin and some spice. Taste - toffee and some spice. Then cleansing grapefruit on the finish. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry but elegant finish. Overall - rather than hitting you with big favour from the start, like a good French wine its appeal grows the more you drink.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear amber-brown, thick white head. Aromas of malt, caramel, spice and orange. Taste brings more of the same, with a clean dry finish. Eminently quaffable.
