Bottle at Weathered 2022, Vancouver
Amber colour, large head. Aroma of malt, acetone, dust, Band Aid. Some residual sweetness, cardboard, malt, light fruit jam, dirt, alcohol, mild sourness. This is all over the place, messy.

Bottle at Weathered 2022, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with toasted nuts, Belgian yeast, and some oakiness. Flavour is complex, with toasted nuts, oak, Belgian yeast, and some red fruits. Nutty, fairly dry and boozy in a nice way. Surprisingly great.

A pour at I hope not a super spreader event Weathered. Appearance: hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: fruity, esters, some chocolate and bourbon barrel. Taste: along the same lines, but it is harsh and not balanced. Overall: meh.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish brown with light bubbly head. Aromas of candi sugar, slightly vinous oak, raisins, and soft toasted malts. Flavors follow same definite alcohol, sharper oak and the slight metallic notes of a Belgian Brune. The oakiness and ABV puts this closer to a Quad. But who's counting. Very nice rendition of a good Belgian even if ABV is pretty apparent.
