Poured from 473mL can. Lightly cloudy golden brown with small white head. Caramel malt, tropical and pine hops, booze, unbalanced. Average.

Hazy, and it's kind of a dullish pale amber colour. Big thick head. The hops are slightly soupy/overripe, but there's also a lot of stone fruit, pineapple and weed. On the palate, well, lots of alcohol. Moderate bitterness. Malt sweetness isn't bad, but it's thick. Kinda yeasty, too. The hops are trying to fight through all this, bringing at least some dankness and peaches. It's not bad. I'd say it almost drinks like a TIPA. A bit rough for my taste, mostly because of the alcohol, but there are good elements in here.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is wonderfully fragrant, with lots of resinous and piney hops upfront, and a thick caramel malt backbone. Flavour is super resinous, with lots of resinous and piney hops, moderately sweet caramel, and a touch of citrus fruitiness. Wonderful resinous hop character to it. Really solid stuff.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dull light brown colour, with medium, compact head. Fruity aroma, tropical fruits, papaya, sweet orange. Full body, it's moderately sweet, the hop mostly shows orange character, a bit muddy, and messy. Some hop juice is there, but it's a rough execution.
