The Blanton's bourbon character dominates this blend, amplifying the caramel notes in the base barleywine and rounding them out with vanilla and spice.
The barleywine base is the same as Cosmic Syzygy, the rum barrel aged (blue wax šµ) release from April. This huge barleywine base was boiled for 8 hours and has a crazy thick viscosity. This blend was built around the concept of folding another layer of flavour into this base, it's something I'll definitely be experimenting with more in the future.
I think it came together exceedingly well, but you'll have to try it and find out for yourself.

Med amber brown, sticky with dates, figs and other dried fruit, just a touch of alcohol and a rounded bourbon in the finish. This is good.

Bottle, Temporal Tasting
Ugly brown, seems opaque, no head. Aroma of malt, chocolate snack bar (Mars), fudge. Full bodied, as expected from Temporal the sweetness is not much; it starts with nutty chocolate then burnt sugar, touch of vanilla, spirit. Indeed, more malty than an imperial stout, more roasty than a barley wine, the result is original and pleasant.

330ml shared with Ryan @ Alex's garage. Appearance: a bit muddy brown with almost no head. Aroma: again a strange to me somewhat meaty base with caramel and dark fruits. Taste: along the same lines, malty, caramel, barrel. Overall: ok.

Re-rate: Poured from 330mL bottle. Murky dark brown with minimal beige head. A bit of rum, mild bourbon, touch of dark fruit. I think I like this one more because I like Cosmic Syzygy more than Event Horizon. June 12, 2022 (8/3/8/4/16=3.9): Poured from the tap @ Container Brewing. Tried side by side with Binary A. Murky dark brown with small beige head. Bourbon and light stone fruit. Once warmed up, prefer B over A by just a hair.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out gentle rum barrels, bourbon barrels, and light iodine. Flavour is full of peat and rum barrels, light iodine, and a touch of roast. Lacking depth but pleasant enough flavours. Solid but not particularly elegant.

330 ml bottle. Pour a very dark brown with little head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, cinnamon, sweet spicy bourbon and slick roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate brownies, nougat, light cinnamon, light coconut, soft bourbon and caramel malts. Hot finish. Softer than binary pair A and a bit more complex. Great stuff
