Draught (VA 2014). Hazy ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some caramel, liquorice, dried fruits and mild berry and spicy tones. Flavour is spicy, liquorice, some sweet malts, mild alcohol as well as some mild dried fruits, raisins and mild berryish tones. Actually quite drinkable.

Draft. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, with hints of metal, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle, 6.4%. Clear dark brown with giant beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, smoke, spices and hop. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, medium sweet, smoke?, yeast and a little bitter.

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Some chocolate and caramel. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, nuts and hops. Dry finish but a little too carbonated.

[ As Birkerød Vinter Ale ].Unclear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, spicy, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150528]

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a deep orange glare. Small off white head. Aroma is overripe fruity and toasted malty. Dark malty. Light metallic. Toasted dark malty finish.
