Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is fairly dry and pretty crisp. Light dry malts. Mild hop spice. Trace of citrus. Dry spicy floral finish. A bit dry and didn’t really engage me.

Draft at the torpedo room. Pale golden yellow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is clean cereal grains, little noble hop, faint lemon. Flavour is composed of crisp cereal grains, piks grains. Faint grassy Nobel hop. Very sessionable. Palate is crisp and seminligjt. Highish carbonation. Crushable.

Draft at the Torpedo taproom. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. The nose holds crispy biscuits, lemon rind. Light sweet flavor with more biscuits, light grassy bitterness, faint cereal, dough, light citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, crisp, further biscuity notes, light bitterness. Excellent.

Bottle from Cornelius. Slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain, shortbread and grass. Flavour of cereal, bay leaf with a crisp hop bite. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Dry and very drinkable.

Bottle. Clear pale gold body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, raw grain, wet straw, light skunk. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light floral taste along with some raw grain, light corn, straw. Lingering bitterness. Crisp and drinkable with just a little too much raw grain/vegetable to make it really, really good.

Bottle from BCS. Shared with family for the New Years holiday. Pours a crystal clear gold. Skunky aroma with some light grass and maybe a touch of lemon. Above average carbonation with good crackery malts. Peppery, crisp finish. Skunked bottle but OK on the palate.

Bouteille: Golden to nearly deep golden, almost clear, big and stable and lacy white head; grainy and grassy-hoppy nose with traces of dust and fire(!); moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, pretty soft; lingering bitter-herbal finish with a delicate, but still balancing, malty base. Nice Pils, Bohemian and Franconian traces well detectable. Far better than Your average german crappy Pils…
