Short pour @Hudl. Dark, clear, russet amber, sexy. Nose is mostly burnt brown sugar. Starchy, rich, sharp. Molasses, Lipton tea, light lemon, grass, maple, bitter melon rind. Blend of old & new. Rich, low carb, pedestrian. Decent.

Taster at the brewery. Clear, amber colored. AROMA- candies, raisins, brandy, alcohol. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, moderately bitter, very warming, pale plums, raisins. Just medium bodied. Good.

On tap at HUDL, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out sweet bready malt, caramel and cloying syrupy sweetness. Flavour is more or less the same, with syrupy sweetness afore dominating — there's no complexity or depth at all, just sugar and booze. Incompetent brew.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet bread and toffee with a bit of caramel and cookie backing. Flavor has a good amount of bread and sweet grains with a growing caramel underlying.
