Bottle, tasting at Ryan's; room temperature
Dark brown colour, no head. Aroma of chocolate, cacao, mild bourbon, spirit. Full bodied; the carbonation is very low; cacao is the most prominent flavour, it comes with moderate sweetness; burnt sugars, vanilla, too much ashes for my taste though.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Near black with small beige head. Light vanilla, mild bourbon and cognac, not totally cohesive, but okay, needs more depth.

330ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: very similar to others - sweet with some meaty notes. vanilla. Taste: vanilla, bourbon, roasted malt bitterness, meaty notes at the finish. Overall: I believe it's better to my taste than most of the others I've had, however, I am not a fan of the base for the beers.

Dark brown, no head. On the palate, there's an alcohol kick up front, some toffee, light sultanas, dates. Not a lot of vanilla, a bit in the finish. Big boozy barrel character, and I think that's the cognac standing out a bit. It's light for the style, but I don't think that's a huge problem here.

330n ml bottle. Pours a very dark reddish brown with no head. Aromas of sweet bourbon, vanilla, chocolate nougat, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of caramel fudge, chocolate nougat, soft bourbon, and oily roasted malts. Dry oaky almost nutty finish which distracts from the sweet and rich initial flavours.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is very rich, with burnt dark malts, burnt cocoa, bourbon barrels, and a touch of cognac. Flavour is very chocolatey, with lots of bitter cocoa, harsh bourbon, a bit of cognac, and subtle vanilla beans. There's some burnt dark malts in here and a sort of jagged character to the elements. Good but this one is not Temporal's most harmonious blend.
