Wie ein heller Bernstein schimmernd präsentiert sich das naturtrübe, unfiltrierte Festbier. Im Geruch finden sich malzig-süße Noten genauso wieder wie ein Hauch von einer sommerlichen Kräuterwiese. Vollmundig und wärmend, im Abgang angenehm gehopft, mit einem ausgewogenem Charakter macht das Festbier Lust auf mehr.

Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau Festbier, Flasche von Fein & Herb online. - Kupfergoldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase kernig frische herbale Hopfenherbe, bittere Orange, Karamelmalz, dezent hefig. - Antrunk weich toastmalzig und satt karamelsüß mit bitterer Orange, Orangenlikör und frischer orangenfruchtig-herbaler Hopfenherbe mit mediterranen Zügen. Milder rezent, hefeweich, vollmundig. Im Abgang intensive aber etwas harsche Bittere. - Für ein Festbier recht ordentlich gehopft, auch füllig malzig wie es sich gehört, bloß ein klein wenig unrund. On tap at SchlossBrauhaus, Schwangau, 21st November 2019 after a long walk from Campingplatz BannWaldsee to Füssen and back via here. Pours reddy amber with a large sticky white head. A little spice, toffee and caramel, it's a malty beer and reminds me a little bit of a soft drink. It's fine but not blowing me away.

Deep autumn color. Slightly sweet, malty, soapy nose. The mouth has the same soapiness but has a really nice underlying spicy hop character which I liked. Fairly full bodied and heavy. Not mind blowing but not bad

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home. [ As Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau Festbier ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, grain, caramel, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sugary, fruit - caramel malt, hay notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150608]

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Malty fresh beginning. Easy to drink with hints of caramelly sweetness and grain. Smooth, malty and round. Caramel malt, not too sweet, nice bitterness in the aftertaste. Chocolate, caramel, moderate bitterness. Probably a bit too much grain and therefore not too easy to drink. But nice!

(500ml Swing-Top Bottle) Trübes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, leicht fruchtig, hopig, Getreide. Geschmack sehr malzig, vollmundig, leicht fruchtig hopfig, leicht getreidig, gut!
