Amber, slight haze, thin head. Light bit of brett C and a touch of biscuity malt. If any brewery was going to convince me that toastier malts work in a saison, Fair Isle would be a leading contender, but alas I still don't get it.

Poured from 473mL can @ Weathered 2023. Slightly hazed gold with small white head. Clean Vienna malt with saison yeast. A nice blend, okay complexity.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a cloudy bright dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy saison yeast, rustic notes, and bready malt. Flavour is rustic and bready, with plenty of rustic saison yeast, bready malt, and some tuber-like body. Clean, thick and well-balanced. Pleasant.
