Murky blond colour. Fruity and dank aroma, hints of tropical fruits. Sweet, full bodied, very juicy, with mild tropical fruit character and some dankness; lower side of bitterness. Very good.

16oz (thx, Brian C.!) shared with Ryan @ Alex's. Appearance: murky golden with a white head. Aroma: loads of car exhausts, veeery dank. Taste: juicy, lots of tropical fruits, some sweetness, dankness. Overall: quite unusual and complex, nice one.

473mL can, pours an opaque cloudy milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out some tangy, wine-y hops, some yeastiness, and some bready malt. Flavour is quite gritty and grainy, with tangy hops, sludgy earthiness, moderate chalk, and toasted grains. Nice hop character, but the mouthfeel is too sludgy and gritty -- typical hazy in that sense. Good hops -- would be better in a west coast format.

Opaque dullish and pale. Fairly thick head. The nose has a really good riwaka character - bright pear, papaya. On the palate, lots of alcohol up front, solid riwaka, that's a nice expression. There's a bit of yeastiness, and the alcohol still comes through quite a bit.
