Dark straw sort of colour. Just a thin head. Earthy bitterness, a touch of orange, lots of pine, dank stuff, and citrus. Just a bit of everything hop character. This is quite good, so yeah my first rating that can was definitely the issue, as I suspected.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, resinous hop oils, some diacetyl, and bready malt. Flavour is unfortunately tainted by the diacetyl -- there's quite a buttery quality to this. There's plenty of hops to this and plenty of bitterness, but the butter is ruining this.

Can from the brewery
Blond colour, slightly hazy. As promised, it's dank, and piney. The mouthfeel is quite dry, pleasant crackery malts as foundation, and then a very bold hopping, with plenty of dank and piney resins, and strong bitterness too.
Excellent, modern IPA (West Coast if you want).

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Very oily (almost too oily), dank with light pine hops. Okay.

16oz shared with Ryan in Alex's garage. Appearance: a bit hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: weird, like a mix of herbs and veggies. Taste: along the same lines, lots of piney bitterness. Overall: meh.
