This pale and tart barrel-aged beer was enhanced by the addition of a truly gorgeous coffee farmed by Maria Delgado in the Nariño Region of Columbia and roasted by our very good friends at Bright Jenny Coffee.

Poured from the tap. Clear yellow gold with minimal white head. Mild coffee integrates nicely with the citrus tartness. Enjoyable.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a bizarre mix of earthy coffee, oaky wood, and a touch of tart citrus. Flavour is quite tart, with plenty of citrus, which is then cut down by the earthy coffee grounds, and some gentle bugs. That's an odd flavour combo that somehow works very well. Coffee-ish, tart, and buggy finish. Nice stuff.

Bright Jenny is the best coffee roaster in Kelowna by far, so it was only a matter of time before someone did a collab with them. Glad it was Wild Ambition. Gold, looks a but flat, no head. Smells sourish and barrelly, to no surprise. Some coffee but more the golden sour, so the coffee lends a subtle element. It's a mellow accent of roast - I mean if you told me they made this with cascara I'd believe it. So well done.
