473mL can, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light roasted malt, subtle hazelnut essence, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with lots of sweetened chocolate, maple syrup, a touch of hazelnut essence, and low-level roast. There's some decent flavours in here, but it's not all that integrated, and it's too sweet. Reasonably tasty in tiny amounts, but beyond that it's a tough one to drink.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with large fizzy head that settles quickly. Aromas of cola, burnt chocolate, and roasted malts. Flavors of sweet nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Not really getting maple syrup though it is sweet. Simple, sugary and thin.

Dark brown. Thin head. It’s thick, got hazelnut and a bit of coffee. I don’t get much maple, do get some chocolate though. Not bad but honestly it suffers from my most recent string of absurd pastry stouts.

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of cheap chocolate, some cacao. Good body strength, but it's just sweet without malty body; cheap chocolate, hazelnut syrup, sweetener (lactose or something else).
Cheating pastry stout. Drinkable, but even at this price we can get something better

16oz @ Alex's. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: roasted malt and chocolate. Taste: sweet, moderately thick, chocolate and dark fruits. Overall: nothing impressive, missing body and complexity.
