This West Coast IPA will have you dreaming of those crisp summer evenings spent outdoors. Very citrus forward, it brings notes of grapefruit, stone fruit and orange peel to the palette while finishing dry and crisp like your favourite IPA should. Life may get Ruff sometimes, but you just have to grab a beer and enjoy those dog days of summer.

Gold, pale, medium head. Doesn’t have a bright nose, some crackers, toasty malt, and earthy hop character. Ends up balanced, nice bitterness, and a decent if subdued hop expression.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Pine and dank oils on the nose. Flavour has some tired pine, some dank oils. Body is a bit weak. Not bad.

473 ml can. Pours a dull gold with moderate head. Aromas pine, dank hops, a little fruit and bready malts. Flavors of dank hops and bready malts with a bit of spice and resin. Nothing special but not bad .

Can from Jak's Parkcrest, Burnaby
Blond colour, clean. Crisp malts, not much different from a strong, dry Lager; bold, clean bitterness; the there's some pith and some pine resin from the hops; not the brightest one, but I appreciate a modern West Coast IPA when I see one.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Mild pine, mild bread malt, not too interesting.

On tap at Darby's, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out an earthy, slightly piney hops character, with a dry bready malt base. Flavour is fairly dull and lifeless despite being quite hoppy and bitter — the hops are earthy and flat without much vibrance. Nothing off or wrong with it; it's just rather dull.
