Warm at the Brno advent stall. Clear golden. Honeyish oily and bit citric, floral aroma. Soft sweet taste, fermented honey, simple, bit herbal and bitterish, warming. Simple and pleasant! The finish migh not be perfect but kinda helps the balance!

Bottle sample at the Mead Museum, pours a clear pale golden blonde. Aroma is somewhat hot, with somewhat fermented out honey and gentle floral notes. Flavour is medium sweet but lacks some depth — there's floral notes, bees wax and sweetness but not a whole lot of depth. It's alright.

Pours a clear gold. Scent is sharper, less smooth than the prespork, less intense as well. harder to pick appart, notes of dried grass, though also a tad floral, but a bit more safran-like than an actual field of flowers. Interesting, though could be amped up a bit to me. Taste is quite full though, and so is the body. Milder florality in the honey, fairly complex, smooth - again, safran like florality. Vanilla pudding, Alcohol fairly mild for the relatively high abv. Lovely mead to sip upon.
