Draft. Pours clear golden, small white head, nice lacing. Aroma is light peat, lemon. Flavor is light tart, medium smokey peat, lemon. Light body. Soft mouthfeel. Nice, but a little 1D.

Toasty, iodine...heavily peated. Quite massive on the nose. On the palate, big peat, light tartness and a light body for a beer this strong.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with intense peated whiskey, with little else — maybe subdued rustic saison yeast. Flavour is loaded with peated whiskey, rustic saison yeast, and some woody oak. Love that peated whiskey character and it blends well with the saison character. Excellent.

Re-rate: poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Peaty, people will love or hate this based on how they feel about peat. I like it. Aug 06, 2022 (7/4/8/3/16=3.8): poured from bottle @ FHF 2022. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Lots of peat. Really nice. May 21, 2022 (8/4/8/3/15=3.8): Poured from bottle at Masonry FHF. Hazy gold with small white head. Lots of peat, slightly rustic, a little gimmicky, but enjoyable.
