750ml bottle [5.0% abv as per label]. Slightly cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, homogeneous, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally sulphuric, Saison-like yeasty notes, hints of egg and mustard. Taste is dry, minimally tart, grassy hoppy, minimally strawy, Saison-like yeasty; a glue-like taste in the middle part; dry, strawy finish with hints of black pepper. My first impression: Uninspired, like a Monday’s lethargic start in slight confusion and absorbed in routine. I must admit, there’s a good deal more complexity - but nothing that really sets my strings into vibration.
