12oz (thx, Josh!) @ SF
Aroma: a lot of port, some light acidity.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of barrel, kinda harsh and not nicely balanced.
Overall: ok.

Medium brown, with no head. This has a really nice fruity aroma, light figgy notes, some mellow bourbon accents. On the palate, this has a sweet sultana note, some syrup, and a bit of barrel, the port coming through a touch at this point, leading to more alcohol in the finish. Good balance. This is good.

Re-rate: May 06,2025 (8/4/8/4/15=3.9): Poured from 355mL can (pkg 01/12/23). Medium dark brown with minimal off white head. Lots of oak, underlying port barrel, feint dried fruit. Not getting any wood glue in this can. Oak is a bit green, but it's decent.

Mar 01, 2023 (7/4/8/4/15=3.8): Poured from 355mL can (date stamped 01/12/23). Black with small beige head. Oaky wood barrel, port, touch of wood glue on the nose. Taste is very port forward, some mild dried fruit, decent.

12 oz. can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out deep dark fruits, port barrels, and subdued bourbon. Flavour is pretty exquisite on the port barrels, which drown out the bourbon mostly, followed by a base of fairly dry dark dried fruits and bready malt. The sugar is mostly attenuated out, finishing on notes of port wine and subtle alcohol. Unusual but very, very nice.
