This strong, barleywine style ale was brewed with our friend Tristan from Temporal Artisan Ales. His expertise in big beer production allowed us to create something very unique and exciting. Strong, golden, delicately spiced with hints of baked apple tart and perry.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with minimal white head. Lots of baked apple, cinnamon, brown sugar, meh. Steamwork novelty.

On tap. Pours a clear copper color with light head. Aromas of Christmas spice, dried fruit and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with some floral notes.

On tap at Steamworks- Mt Pleasant, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of brown sugar and toffee, with a thin sweet biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is strong but not complex or deep, with lots of brown sugar, toffee, bready malt and crisp biscuity malt. Quite boozy for a sub-9% barley wine. Nothing but special but competently made. Good.
