It's been a while since we released a new beer in our Double Infinity series, our Doule IPA series. This version uses a blend of two big Australian hops, Eclipse and Galaxy. Both of the lots of hops used had extremely high oil content and are super punchy. We taste zesty citrus peel, pine needle, and mandarin juice on top of a classically dank Aussie base.

Draft 6 oz pour enjoyed at Superflux. Dense juicy orange haze. Tropical heavy nose, fruity hops. Flavor is a juicy constant, tropical character, and a moderate booze that comes with the imperial tag. Slick body, long cool finish. Juicy front. Bold and slow burn linger. Fun and tasty imperial hazy.

Can from the brewery
Screw Sergey for delaying me on this one. It's a filthy pale yellow, with a small crown of compact foam. The aroma is nice, tropical fruits, perfume, guava, vanilla. The mouthfeel is dry, it feels like chewing chalk paste; the hop presents some dank character, there is some fruit, but it can't really be juicy if there is no sugar left, and then it's mostly pith and hopburn, and finally even more pith. Rough, unrefined, miles away from what the original DI's used to be.

16oz @ 🏡 Appearance: green ish blonde with a huge white head. Aroma: very dank, a bit juicy. Taste: along the same lines, it is really quite chalky, hehe. Overall: enjoyable.

On tap at Superflux, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of stone fruit pith, chalk, and some earthy hops. Flavour is full of tons of hopburn, stone fruit pith, and unpleasant bitterness. The fruitiness is actually quite nice, but the hopburn and chalk are total dealbreakers. Pass, yet again.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Nov 15, 2022). Specifically drank this later in hopes of reducing reports of crazy hop burn fresh. Opaque murky dull blonde with small white head. Oily tropical and citrus hops, a touch of hop burn, a hell of a lot of chalk. Too much.

Opaque, of course. Not much head. This is big hop burn, some piney notes but yeah it’s pretty funny. Whatever you feel about chalky dipa, will be your feelings about this. It is the median example of chalky dipa.
