500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber brown with a thin white head. Aromas of earthy hops, light dung almost, toffee. Taste is bitter, more earthy notes, woody pine. Light astringent finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Beeston Village Life ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted - toasted, light yeasty, vomit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, toasted, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light breadish. Bitter, toasted and slight herbal hoppy. Dry and bitter finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy citrus finish.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear amber-gold with a light, foamy white head. Lightly toasted malts, grain, some orange rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, more grains, mild citrus notes, faint leaves. Not bad. Straight-ahead ESB.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Lightly hazed amber/chestnut brown with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is biscuit malt, earthy rub, toffee, light cocoa. Taste comprises biscuit malt, light bread notes, earthy hop tones, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle hop presence. Ok offering - not sure what beer Ken and Rene were on !?!

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and mildly crisp. Milky and skuny malts. Tired ripe orange hops. Dry finish. Bleh!

Sampled @ GBBF. Hazy orange brownish color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, toasted malts, a slight touch of hops, slightly caramel and decently bitter. Average body and carbonation.
