Tried at the hop and barley, Lincoln. Amber colour with a white head, Light malty and caramel aroma and taste, a touch of fruity, but a bit musty.

Two hand-pulled half-pints in The Three Crowns, Oakham on 15th March 2016. Easy drinking bitter, hence the second half. Golden/amber with a white, stable head. Pleasant blend with the malts just about winning in both the aroma and flavour stakes over the bittering hops.

Gravity cask at the 2015 Red Lion Beer Festival, Histon. Golden brown with a decent amount of natural carbonation producing a modest amount of off-white head. Caramel, candy sugar and bramble aroma, subtle and convincing. Not so convincing is the bittersweet taste. Pleasant enough with the hints of biscuit spread and Camp coffee, and the hoppy bitter tang at the end, but it leaves me wanting all in all. The weakish oily palate just adds to my annoyance.
