This luscious imperial stout blend was aged extensively in bourbon barrels for 25 months, then treated with the finest single-origin Ugandan cacao nibs and vanilla beans. Abundant oak character compliments hints of light caramel and brown sugar backed by notes of rich fudge and dark fruit.

Dark brown. This comes across medium-bodied, with some nice vanilla accents, and a mellow dark malt profile, maybe a bit nutty. Soft body.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is lush and complex, with lots of sublime vanilla beans, bourbon barrels, and a touch of cocoa nibs. Flavour is round and complex, with plenty of bourbon barrels, deep vanilla beans, some cocoa, and maybe a touch of dark fruits. Nice use of vanilla beans and bourbon barrels. A little harsher on the palate than the nose indicated. Very good.

Poured from 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle (2021 vintage). Black with small light tan head. Woody, lots of cacao, vanilla, fudgey, good stuff.
