Made in a modern fashion with Pilsner malt and lager yeast, balanced by a layered hopping technique. In this batch we used Strata, Chinook, Talus Lupomax and Citra Spectrum. We get aromas of candied mango, orange blossom honey, fuzzy peach, and overripe papaya, with a juicy mouthfeel and a smooth bitterness.

Pours golden with small foamy head. Aroma excellent; piney and floral. Flavour is resinous with plenty of floral notes. Some notes of stonefruit as well. Mouthfeel not super aggressive. Excellent example of a West Coast style IPA.

Draught at the brewery
Blond colour, clear, with large head. Aroma of alcohol, hops, light sweat. Lean mouthfeel, with little sweetness left; the bitterness is bold, not excessive; herbaceous hops, with some piney resins. I had DIPAs with brighter hops, but this one too is solid; modern, bold.

Pale amber, slight haze. Thick head. Aroma has some allium, pine, grapefruit. Decent pale malt -this has a sweetish edge to it, to go with a mix of hops where arguably you can pick out the influence of each. Unlike the chalk factory around the corner. It's not perfect, it's a bit alcoholic in the finish, but it's pretty good.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma exudes a nice bouquet of resinous, piney and floral hops, along with some relatively subtle stone fruits, and juicy tropical notes. Flavour is remarkably well-hopped and balanced, with vibrant tropical stone fruits, big resinous and piney hops, some candies stone fruits, perceptible alcohol, and modest sweetness to back. Big and bold hopping, with a big juicy, mildly bitter and balanced finish. Excellent.

Poured from the tap. Lightly hazed gold with full white head. Biscuit malt with some resins and light tropical melon hops. Well done.
