In Czechia, picking hops isn’t just a part of local agriculture, it is a rite of passage. Under Communism, Czechs in every high school and university were sorted into "hop brigades" each summer, where they helped farmers tend and pick their immaculate crops of Saaz in Žatec. . Using Agnus and Kazbek hops, our Hoppy Czech Lager was dry-hopped to accentuate floral, lemon citrus, and tantalizing spice notes.

Can: Poured a clear golden yellow color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some very dry hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some very dry hoppy notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Great lager but maybe overly dry front he hops.

A golden blonde lager with a very thin white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, grapefruit, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with resinous piney hops, light cereal, bready, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Crisp, hoppy and herbal with some grass, pine, rustic grainy maltiness and spicy earthiness, long lasting lingering bitterness. Properly bitter Czech pils. Great.

355mL can, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, with bready malt, some herbal hops, and toasted notes. Flavour is quite dry, with lots of toasted biscuity malt, bittering herbal hops, and some grassiness. A bit harsh, but has a nice dry, toasted, bitter finish. Pleasant.

Can at Black Christmas March 2022
Hazy blond colour. Nice aroma, grass, hay, pepper, spicy. Good body, some residual sweetness, malt and hay flavour, bold bitterness, with a spicy Saaz character.
