Can, at Matt's
Black colour, light brown head. Mild aroma of roasted malt and vanilla. Good body, moderately sweet, smooth mouthfeel; flavou of roasted malt, molasses, tar; alcohol is hidden.
Good.

16oz can. Pours black with brown head. Flavour has some good roasted malt flavours, a touch of cocoa. A bit too light. A bit one-note, but still quite enjoyable.

16oz (thx, Josh!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: roasted malt and seeds, vanilla. Taste: along the same lines, a lot of roasted malts, some smokiness, and earthiness coming probably from cocoa nibs. Surprisingly not very bitter. Overall: pretty good.

16 oz. can, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of cocoa nibs and vanilla beans and cocoa nibs, and a soft roasty palate. Flavour is a bit uncoordinated, with cocoa nibs, subtle vanilla, and some earthy roast. A bit jumbled but pleasant.

Can. Dark brown. No head. There's a little smokey, meaty aspect to the aroma, with light chocolate. On the palate, it has more of that meaty aspect. The base seems relatively light for its size, very low carb and slick. I'm not getting a ton of complexity on this, maybe light vanilla.
