12oz (thx, Phill!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: some meaty notes, bold, some oak. Taste: along the same lines, dark chocolate, molasses, pretty thick. Overall: good.

Dark brown, looks flat, inky. It's chocolatey, with a bit of coffee, but also maybe a touch of tartness. There's some good stuff here, biggish body, but doesn't come together entirely.

355mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of marzipan, gentle bourbon, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is very syrupy, with marzipan, bourbon, molasses, and oiliness. Oily, marzipan-y. Not especially complex or cohesive, but good stuff.
