473mL can, pours a clear pale golden with a medium, foamy white head. Aroma reveals some nice herbaceous notes, light spiciness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is grassy and herbaceous, hitting that nice classic helles note, gentle spiciness, and crisp biscuity malt. I think this bang on true to style -- no idea what Oakes is talking about. This works for me.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
Hazy, warm dark straw colour with a thick, even head. Doughy, yeasty, medium body but low bitterness. This one is shaky, especially in the doughy/yeasty character that doesn'�t really flow for any known lager style.
