On tap at The Magnet. Pours muddy brown with small white head. Aroma quite earthy with some chocolate notes. Flavour has some toasted malts, some spongy(?) malts, and some bourbon notes. Enjoyable as a beer, but falls short for the style.

On tap at The Magnet, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rather muddled, with earthy cocoa, subtle bourbon, and some toasted malt. Flavour doesn't have the best bourbon expression, revealing gentle wood, toasted malt, and aspartame. Nothing wrong or abrasive here, but the flavours don't really strike the right notes. It's a decent attempt, but can't compete.

On tap. Pours black with little head. Aromas of roasted malts and black coffee. Flavors of same with additional cacao powder. Cannot get the bourbon barrel, maybe some oak, but otherwise a solid roasty stout.
